Introduction |
Phuket, a large island in the Andaman Sea, is 867 kms.
from Bangkok. This Island is one of the provincial states of Thailand.
Known as the Pearl of the Andaman, it derived much of its former glory
and its enormous wealth from tin production, which in Phuket dates
back over 500 years. Today, Phuket is the major tourist attraction
of Thailand.

Phuket, is located in Andaman Sea in the South of Thailand.
Phuket is the Thailand's largest islands, is surrounded by 32 smaller
islands that form part of the same administration, with a total area
of 570 square kilometers. Measured at its widest point, Phuket is
21.3 kilometers; at its longest, 48.7 kilometers.

Cool Season : (late
October to end of February). Average temperature 24?C to 32?C (75?F
to 89?F).
Hot Season : (early March to end
of May) with temperatures ranging from 80?F to 95?F (27?C to 36?C).
There are frequent short heavy thundershowers, offering welcome relief
from the temperature and humidity.
Rainy Season : (early June to
end of October). Everything is a little less expensive at this time
of year, as well. Temperatures range between 70?F and 90?F (20?C to
33?C).
